About Me

My name is Dower, and I’m a gadget geek and input device fanatic. Professionally, I’m a web application developer with a background in multimedia; when the CD-Rom was king. I’ve been a computer geek since I was 11, when my father brought home my first Apple IIe computer, freshly bought from Macy’s ( yes, kids, believe it or not, Macy’s used to have it’s own computer sales department! ). I’ve been a net lurker for many years trying to find something to write about, and all this time, it was building up in my basement and all the various corners of my home. I have a ton of equipment in my house, ranging from old computers to all the whacky input devices you can imagine for them. All bought with my hard earned money, and all with stories to tell. I setup this web site in hopes to share my insights, thoughts and experience I have with using these types of devices, and my knowledge of this computer industry to do more than just review a product, but to offer a real life perspective of them.
